Hop to it

Kia ora beer lovers,

The future of Te Taiao (nature) is hazy. BirdCare Aotearoa, NZ’s largest wild bird hospital and rehabilitation centre, provides expert care to birds, rescued by heroes like you! Pūteketeke (#rigged), and all our taonga species need support! Please help us to continue elevating the wellbeing of wild birds.

Chur Churley, and the Behemoth team for this funky collab!

Our charity runs on donations, contestable grants, and aroha. Hop you can help us, and consider becoming a Friend of BirdCare Aotearoa.

Your donation, generously matched by our friend, bird and beer lover, JG 💚 Cheers!

Honey-nectar for tūī!

Tūī are often rescued due to cat attacks, being hit by cars or chicks falling from nests.

Save a shag!

Shags (cormorants) regularly become tangled in fishing gear or swallow fish hooks.

Kererū care!

Kererū are often admitted to our hospital due to window strikes or cats attacks on chicks.

Rehabilitating ruru!

Ruru sometimes fly into windows, are hit by cars or become stuck in parapara (bird catcher tree).
